Traffic Control Results
According to the Police Press Release, a total of 5 drivers were arrested and 57 vehicles were impounded during the inspections conducted by traffic teams across the country yesterday.
Reported traffic offenses include: 239 cases of speeding above the legal limit, 26 cases of driving under the influence of alcohol, 3 cases of driving without a license and insurance coverage, 31 cases of using a mobile phone while driving, 19 cases of driving without wearing a seatbelt, 16 cases of driving without navigation permit, 9 cases of driving without insurance, 6 cases of applying obstructive window films on vehicle windows, 1 case of driving an unregistered vehicle, and 150 cases of other traffic offenses.
