Traffic Violations
During traffic inspections conducted by the police across the country yesterday, out of 1906 drivers checked, 347 were penalized for various offenses. Ten drivers were arrested, and 37 vehicles were removed from traffic.
According to information from the Police Press Office, 231 drivers were speeding above the legal limit, 22 were under the influence of alcohol, 9 were driving without a valid license, 8 were using their phones while driving, 4 were not wearing seat belts, 3 were driving without a license and insurance coverage, 3 were using uninsured vehicles, and 93 were reported for other traffic offenses.
