Traffic Violations
Following traffic inspections conducted yesterday by traffic teams nationwide, 417 out of 2,315 drivers inspected were reported for various traffic violations. According to the Police Press Release, 3 drivers were arrested, and 43 vehicles were impounded.
The reported traffic violations include: 236 cases of speeding above the legal limit, 24 cases of driving under the influence of alcohol, 54 cases of using a mobile phone while driving, 3 cases of not wearing a seat belt while driving, 17 cases of driving without a license, 1 case of driving without insurance, 1 case of disregarding traffic lights, 1 case of driving an unregistered vehicle, and 80 cases of other traffic violations.
