Earthquake in Morocco
In Morocco, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 struck near the town of Deryuş in the central part of the country. The tremor occurred at 20.17 yesterday evening.
The earthquake was felt in the towns of Deryuş, Nazur, and Huseyme, as well as neighboring areas. So far, there is no information about any loss of life or property due to the earthquake.
On the night of September 8, 2023, an earthquake in El-Huz resulted in the loss of nearly 3,000 lives and left over 6,000 people injured in Morocco. Multiple casualties were reported in the Azilal region during that earthquake.
