Accident on Girne-Lefkoşa Highway
According to the information provided by the Police Press Office, this morning around 06:00, Saniye GÜNDÜR (35), driving a vehicle with license plate SZ 127, was traveling towards Lefkoşa on the right lane of the dual carriageway between the 8th and 9th kilometers of Girne-Lefkoşa highway when she hit a damaged steel barrier that had been bent into the road as a result of a previous traffic accident. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the accident.
The police are currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances of the accident to determine the cause of the collision and ensure road safety.
