Traffic Inspection Results
Yesterday, the police conducted traffic inspections nationwide, leading to the arrest of 1 driver and the impounding of 13 vehicles. According to the police statement, out of the 1,053 drivers checked during the inspections, 307 drivers were reported for various traffic offenses, resulting in legal action being taken against them.
Among the reported violations, 222 drivers were found to be driving above the legal speed limit, 2 were found driving under the influence of alcohol, 16 were using their mobile phones while driving, 4 were driving without wearing a seatbelt, 12 were driving without proper navigation permits, and 51 were reported for other traffic offenses.
